Europe 2010
Well, my husband & I have just arrived back from a fantastic 23 days in Italy, Belgium & France. It was suppose to be 17 days but volcanic ash got into the mix and so added to our adventure.
We went with the girls from the college we work at here in Sydney. So it was an educational trip looking at history of both WW1 & WW2 as well as ancient history ie, Pompeii, the Colosseum, the Forum etc.
I will add a few photos for now but hope to write more details later.

Technique Junkies
I have recently subscribed to Technique Junkies at http://www.patstamps.com/ and I played with a couple of techniques last night. I really love this one, called Background Burst Extension. Such lovely colours. The next time I blog, which probably won't be for a few weeks.....so what else is new.....I hope to have an incredible experience to share with you. See you then.
Latest Cards

I have had a little time to play lately and these are my creations. There are a number of background techniques here. The one immediately above I have stamped onto a Mica distress background which has then been mounted onto a kitchen paper towel which has been gessoed & coloured. I did not make the paper towel background on this one, I was lucky enough to be given some samples. The image I used is an Italian street scene. These cards are now winging their way to some special people for their birthdays. The top "B" card was stamped onto a Tartan background.

OWOH
One World One Heart is back for it's 4th year!!!!! Thanks to Lisa for organising this wonderful event.
The wonderful Lisa Swifka created this event in 2007. The original idea behind this giveaway event was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way.
You can read more about this event and see a list of all the participants here at: One World - One Heart! Go on, be adventurous, check out all of these wonderful bloggers.
Ideally, participants should have an active blog to participate, but I'm just happy to have visitors to my blog. If you leave a comment on 'THIS POST ONLY' of my blog, with your world location (city/country) and a means to contact you (e-mail/blog address), you will have a chance to win one of my handmade gifts.
My first prize this year will be roses similar to the ones above. Depending on how many leave comments there will also be a small range of ATCs as follow up prizes.
Enjoy the ride, have a wonderful time, please do not hesitate to call in for a cuppa & chat!!!

Stamp Camp
We have just had our wonderful City Meets Country Stamp Camp at Quorrobolong in the Hunter Valley. Such a beautiful spot.
Mylene Hillam, www.milllanestudio.com; http://milllanestudio.blogspot.com, was our demonstrator for the weekend.
We played with Friendly Plastic, made a bookmark from a Venetian blind slat as well as a card with corrugated cardboard.
I also made several more Joy Bathie Collages.
We had an interesting visitor on Sunday morning as well!!
